TATS CRU, as a company, employs graffiti mural art as a commercially
viable art form and markets customized aerosol art to businesses,
corporations, and individual consumers in major metropolitan areas
throughout the world. The TATS CRU furnishes advertising and
design services to businesses reaching out to young Hip-Hop consumers and/or
companies seeking new and innovative ways to promote their services
and products. They are also the major producers of New York style memorial murals,
created in remembrance of victims of untimely and often violent deaths.

Graffiti World (Abrams 2004); and R.I.P. Wall Memorial Wall Art
(Henry Holt & Co., 1994). In the latter, a TATS CRU mural was chosen for
the book's cover.

TATS CRU’s art exhibitions: the Bronx Museum for the
Arts ("Urban Mythologies” - April 1999); The Cathedral of St. John the
Divine (May 1999); Brooklyn’s Mc Craig-Welles Gallery (2003); Paul
Rodgers 9W Gallery (Chelsea, NY – 2004); Brooklyn Industries (NY – 2004),
Tag the System Gallery (NY – 2004) and Objex ArtSpace (Miami – 2005). International exhibitions include: Casa de Cultura (Mexico City - August
1999); Birmingham Central Library (London); Kosmopolite Festival de
Graffiti (France – 2003); and 3Dom (England – 2004).
TATS CRU's work can also be seen on walls in Ireland, Germany, Australia, Italy,
Argentina, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, France, Canada, Amsterdam,
as well as throughout the United States.

TATS CRU has spearheaded the battle to change people's perceptions
of graffiti art. Proof of their success and the acceptance of graffiti
as an artform, has been their work for public schools Lorraine
Hansberry Academy - I.S. 200, Hugo Newman Preparatory College - P.S.
180, Joseph C. Lanzetta - P.S. 96 and The Mahalia Jackson School for
Literacy and Arts - P.S. 123.
This group has participated in lectures
at Hunter College, Univ. of Massachusetts, The Institute for Community
Research (Conn.), Intermedia Arts (Minnesota) as well as taught mural art
classes at the Point Community Development Corporation, a local
community center in the Bronx, NY.
In June, 2001 TATS CRU was chosen
to represent N.Y. mural art in a very high profile two week event
held at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. (35th Annual
Folklore Festival). The event highlighted life, art, and culture in New
York City.
